Curtis Salgado Doing Well But Still Needs Help

Curtis Salgado Doing Well But Still Needs Help:

Curtis Salgado, who was diagnosed with liver cancer in March and received a liver transplant on September 30, has spent the past two months at The Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, and his recovery is going well. There were post-op issues, which have been resolved, and doctors say that his liver function is normal and that he should be home in Portland by the end of the year.

Fundraising continues to be important. Two substantial loans had to be secured for the transplant, plus future expenses including medications, follow-up medical care, and travel expenses. All merchandise available at www.curtissalgado.com will help with the expenses and donations to the Curtis Salgado Fund can be made at any U.S. Bank or can be mailed to U.S. Bankcorp, 2550 NW 188 Avenue, Hillsboro, OR 97124.
